The option to add enemy players to your friend’s list has also been removed along with the ability to add teammates with privacy/streamer mode enabled. Split was one of the first maps that people could play on in the Valorant closed beta. The patch also nerfed Jett’s smoke duration from 7 seconds to 4.5 seconds, introduced harsher AFK queue restrictions for repeat offenders, and gave players the ability to hide custom game results in Match History. “This Split update is focused around improving attacker options on the map, as well as reducing 50/50 checks, the depth of certain corners, and opening specific areas on the map by increasing chokepoint widths.” All ten maps are used for the standard spike plant and defusal game mode. Patch 2.01, while smaller in comparison, introduces significant structural changes to the Split map to make it more balanced for the attacking team. There are currently ten different maps in Valorant: Ascent, Bind, Haven, Split, Icebox, Breeze, Fracture, Pearl, Lotus, and Sunset.
